It’s been a while I didn’t go to Tok Bali especially with my close friend, Hafiz. I remember back in 2005 and 2006 it was our regular routine to go to Tok bali without specific purposes. Photo opportunity, shopping “bundle” or just makan-makan. It could be anything. We could be there just to relax. So we went there recently for iftar accompanied by his brother in law, Rushdan. Also to test the power of 85mm f/1.8 in low light, I borrowed my sister’s D80 to attach with the lens to see how good the performance is.

It is proven that my Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 lens is OK but I wonder why whenever it attaches with D300 body, it won’t work well. Any lenses work perfectly on my D300 body. Perhaps the D or G type? Because My Nikkor 18-200mm VR is G type lens and 85mm is D type. Could it be the problem?
