Last Saturday, a bunch of friends came to Duduk Cafe for Taboo. Very fun game I must say. It was my first time and I enjoyed it. We’ll make Saturday night, a game night at Duduk Cafe. Probably once a fortnight.

So a few days back I had the most guests in my office at Solaris Dutamas. I’ve got Saddiq, the photo manipulator (the guy standing at the back), Boy, creative designer (with the hat), Mai, the proud owner of Duduk Cafe (light brown headband), Shazrina, another great designer (scarf on shoulder) and last but not least, Myra of Suria FM (stripe jacket). Too bad I missed Shazrina’s single portrait.

Duduk Cafe & Faris Fakri Photography Opening

Happy New Year everybody! My 2011 first post kicks off!

Last weekend was a very hectic week for me. Those who don’t know, I’ve just launched my new office opening on 25 December 2010. Duduk Cafe was also launching on the same day, same spot, same time. Technically, my office is just at the back of Duduk Cafe. If you come to Duduk Cafe at Solaris, you’ll notice it. You can come in and say hello if you want to.

The opening was a blast. We had a special guest of honour, Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor whom dropped by at Duduk Cafe during the opening. We are so thankful to have family and friends who are always supporting us in whatever we do especially something we are passionate about. To everyone who attended the opening, thank you very much for your support. It is much appreciated and we shall not forget it. 2010 has been a fabulous year for me.

Oh, the address to my office is D3-G3-01, Solaris Dutamas, No. 1, Jalan Dutamas 1, 50480 Kuala Lumpur. Or if you find it difficult to find my office, just look out for Duduk Cafe, you’ll definitely find my office. By the way, check out the block number, it’s D3! Haha. How cool is that? LOL!

P/S: If you wonder where are my office photos, well it was too messy on that day with rubbish and boxes. Even if I show it to you, you would not believe it is an office LOL. However, I shall post it real soon as everything is in place now! In the meantime, enjoy your stay!

Aidiladha 2010

This is nothing but my personal collection of her. I haven’t been taken my camera to a casual day out for a long time so I thought on this special occasion of me and her, I might capture some photographs for our memories. It was a simple celebration yet wonderful. We had dinner at PappaRich and watched Unstoppable at GSC Signature at The Gardens. To Maisarah, thank you for such a wonderful journey together. Hot Air Balloons

It’s been a while I didn’t chill out and take some casual shots for personal collection. Yesterday I went to Putrajaya with my lovely to see hot air balloons festival in Putrajaya. Unfortunately, none of the balloons went up in the air that evening due to strong wind. It was imbalanced that they could not control it. It’s a shame because we were there on the right spot waiting for the balloons to go up. Nevertheless, we had fun evening in Putrajaya. Check out some of the images I took yesterday.

I would like to wish these 3 lovely people Happy Birthday! As a matter of fact, I have missed the other 2, Ashman and Arisha because they both share same birthday 1st of January. How cool is that. So, Happy Belated Birthday to both of you. Sorry, Uncle Ris forgot to buy you presents And to my wonderful sister, she is celebrating her birthday today. May your dreams come true. At The Studio

Just came back from Port Dickson with WOW team. Another wedding coverage of Hazlan & Liyana. Very fun & “sporting” couple and easy to work with. Nevertheless, it was raining heavily in the evening during our outdoor portraiture session hence, we have not got many shots as we always wanted. PocketWizard also went crazy! Absolutely mad. It did not trigger the flash where it supposed to fire it remotely. Damn it. I missed a few shots and I gave up after so many trials plus it was raining and we did not want to hold the couple in the rain for too long. On our way home the highway was jam packed like hell. It seemed like there’s no way we could escape from it. Hafiz decided to take “jalan belakang” and we arrived safely at the studio after approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes of journey. Got to take a shower now before temperature hits my body again.

London Revisit

London has always been my favourite place to travel. Lots of sweet memories occurred during my 2 years stay and it will always be in my heart for eternity (if I have not lost my memory!). One of the sweetest memory was when I met my lovely Maisarah. Those memories were too good to be true. However, I had an opportunity to revisit London for 2 weeks and it was fascinating. I would not be dreaming to be back in London even if it is just for a short trip. At least not in the same year. The ultimate was to meet my lovely after 6 months being apart. To my dear Maisarah, thank you very much for being so patient and never give up on our relationship. You are the best. I love you.

I did not go out that often when I was there. Too many things to be done such as packing & clearing up stuff to be shipped back to Malaysia nevertheless we did not want to miss a chance whenever we see a sunshine therefore we tried to spend some time to relax and go out for a couple of hours. Taking pictures is a must! This post is specially dedicated to my dear lovely Maisarah. Hope you enjoy your stay and thank you very much for reading & viewing.
