London Revisit

London has always been my favourite place to travel. Lots of sweet memories occurred during my 2 years stay and it will always be in my heart for eternity (if I have not lost my memory!). One of the sweetest memory was when I met my lovely Maisarah. Those memories were too good to be true. However, I had an opportunity to revisit London for 2 weeks and it was fascinating. I would not be dreaming to be back in London even if it is just for a short trip. At least not in the same year. The ultimate was to meet my lovely after 6 months being apart. To my dear Maisarah, thank you very much for being so patient and never give up on our relationship. You are the best. I love you.

I did not go out that often when I was there. Too many things to be done such as packing & clearing up stuff to be shipped back to Malaysia nevertheless we did not want to miss a chance whenever we see a sunshine therefore we tried to spend some time to relax and go out for a couple of hours. Taking pictures is a must! This post is specially dedicated to my dear lovely Maisarah. Hope you enjoy your stay and thank you very much for reading & viewing.

Aidiladha 2009

I know Aidiladha has already gone for too long but I reckon it is never too late to share the photographs I took on that day. Due to very tight schedule I was not able to update my blog as regular as I normally do. As a matter of fact, I was off to London for 2 weeks and just came back last night.

Back to Aidiladha story, this was actually my first time ever to celebrate Eid in Kuala Lumpur. Nothing special, just the usual. I bet celebrating Eid in Kelantan was even merrier than any other places. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and to have someone or a family to celebrate with you is even better. My good friend, Alang and family was kind enough to let me be part of this celebration. Without them, I would have celebrated alone. Thank you guys. You are all very nice people.

This is Alang, my very old good friend. He likes photography too.

Well, he said he just learned how to do “malay head gear” or “tanjak” to be exact so…

There he goes with his “tanjak” but of course he did not wear it. It is just for the sake of showing off his skill.

This is Ida, a sister of Alang. Both brother and sister are crazy weng people haha. Don’t be mad at me for saying this guys.

That little girl is Arina, a daughter of Alang. Very cute girl and so adorable.

See, I told you they are crazy people.

I love this photograph of Arina looking at me. The look is like she’s so “menyampah” at me or “what-is-wrong-with-this-guy” look.

Bachok (Part I)

What’s going on everybody.

As I promised in my previous post, here are the photographs I wanted to share. These photographs were all taken in Bachok, Kelantan. In fact, this was another assignment after Pesta Pantai Bachok 2009 which was held in Bachok last month. To be honest, photojournalism is not my expertise but I always love capturing life. It makes me see things differently and realize how beautiful the place if you scrutinize it. The best part is, you get to know the place better because I’m pretty sure you all never discovered the place you are in and thought other places are better to be photographed. So do I until I was assigned to photograph life in Bachok, Kelantan. I know there are many beautiful places out there but I believe each place has their own peculiarity.

Pesta Pantai Bachok 2009

Okay let’s take a break from white room studio or wedding for a moment shall we? Yeah, let’s enjoy a different set of photos this time to avoid you from puking when seeing too much wedding & studio photographs.

These photographs were taken last month during Pesta Pantai Bachok 2009. I was assigned by Majlis Daerah Bachok, Kelantan to capture this 5 days event which was held at Pantai Irama, Bachok, Kelantan. I had so much fun covering this event as much as I enjoyed the beach. The weather was perfect and the event was packed with local people as well as others who came to see the actions and activities organised by Majlis Daerah Bachok. There are a few more photographs I would like to share apart from this event. That will be on the next post I promise you. Arina’s 1st Birthday

Yesterday I went to my good friend’s daughter birthday party in Puchong. It’s been ages I didn’t see the families. I used to accompany my good friend, Alang all the time whenever he wanted to go to his wife’s house (which his mother in law’s house) before they got married (nak pergi mengurat la konon kan ajak kawan temankan) so not only him, but I too know the family quite well. Unfortunately I missed their wedding as I was in the United Kingdom when they tied the knot. Sad but what to do right.

They have been gifted one daughter and she is now one-year-old. So cute and adorable. I’m so happy for you guys. The food was really nice. I had so much Mee Hun I’m telling you. Thank you for your hospitality and hope you enjoy viewing the photos taken yesterday.

P.S: Oh by the way, the sister Yana was also celebrating her 21st birthday as same as Arina so Happy Birthday Arina & Happy Birthday Yana

D.I.A Studio Shoot

Last week I had an opportunity to shoot a new comer in music industry. Very young and talented, they call themselves D.I.A. It was taken at WOW Studio & Gallery in Shah Alam. This series of outdoor portraiture was taken in Kemasin, Bachok, Kelantan. Lots of interesting spots nearby to be discovered but unfortunately I was too excited photographing until I forgot it.
