Diffan Sina Norman

b1

Yesterday, I had an opportunity to shoot Diffan Sina Norman, the multi-disciplinary artist, filmmaker and designer.

This shoot was for Kekasih, a short film produced by Diffan. This dude is freakin’ rad. Check out his work at Kekasih The Film¬†and Diffan Norman.

Thanks for viewing and thumbs up for continuously supporting Malaysian productions.

Sunny & Meetha

A super nice couple. For those who don’t know, Meetha was one of the finalists of Miss Malaysia Indian Global 2013. And Sunny? I say he’s the lucky guy! Thank you so much guys for the wonderful session although later in the evening I thought I was going to have this session in the rain. Fortunately the weather was on our side.

For photographers: This set was captured on Nikon F6 + Agfa Vista Plus 400 and the last 6 photographs were shot on Contax 645 + Pro 400H.

Sometimes you will come across someone who isn’t the smartest, wealthiest or most popular but they have the best akhlak (manners). Keep their company.

Shot on Nikon F6 + Agfa Vista Plus 400.

My sister and her husband Amin were in the neighbourhood last weekend and I thought why not a couple of shots since they both were nicely dressed.

Nadia & Amin / Pre-Wedding

It was a challenge session for me because this was impromptu. A sudden request after I have just finished all my films and considering it was 4 Syawal, not many shops opened and I had to drive all through the town to find whatever available films. Fortunately I found Superia 200 but then the sky was getting dark when we got to the location. It was alright but I was shooting at a very minimum speed, hand held (average speed was 1/30-1/60). Gotta be as sturdy as tripod and man, it was not easy at all.
