Pantai Cahaya Bulan (PCB)

Hari ini dalam sejarah. Buat pertama kali nya aku dan famili pergi ke PCB tapi tak makan colek! Wei biar betik? Memang betik sebab we had late lunch and went straight to the beach so masih terasa kenyang bila ke sana.

Medina was really looking forward to play at the beach. I bought her a kite but she only played it for about 10 minutes then she got bored. Sand was more fun. Emma on the other hand had no clue where she was but man she had no fear! Most of the time she likes to follow whatever her kakak is doing but this time around she went extra miles. Emma went into the water and dunked her head twice! Punya lah terkejut beruk aku terus angkat dia letak tepi. Tak serik dia masuk lagi dalam air rendam diri sendiri. Kelakar pun ada. Aku dah la dengan kamera lagi, phone lagi.. memang kalut. So tak sempat nak rekod moments masa Emma tenggelamkan kepala dan her whole body dalam air. Betul betul berani budak ni. But I’m glad they all had fun. Dekat KL memang tak dapek lah nak main pasir macam ni. That’s why everytime balik KB I will try my best to make a trip to PCB. Sekejap pun jadi lah.

Hari ni 1 May hari pekerja jadi aku expect visitors extra ramai tapi masa we all sampai surprisingly it was not that busy. By “not that busy” I mean, within 5 minutes dah dapat park kereta. Kalau tak, mimpi lah nak park dekat dekat. To those of you yang nak pergi PCB, I suggest you go awal sikit say 4.30pm or 5pm macam tu sebab masih belum pack so tak sesak sangat masa sampai tu. If it’s a sunny day, time tu the best sebab matahari tengah panas terik so bagi aku best lah kalau nak ambil gambar hehe. Unless korang tak suka panas then too bad lah haha. Biasanya local akan mula keluar jam 6pm ish sebab masa tu cuaca dah redup dan tak panas sangat. Sedaplah nak lepak lepak.

The Wedding of Christine & Kuan Eng

To be honest, I am still deciding whether to keep this site as a blog or switch it into a portfolio website. This URL is on my new business card now. I’m thinking to maintain it as a blog and if I have to, I will put a link to connect to my other platforms. It is already there on the left side anyway. What do you reckon?

I have been neglecting my blog updates for good two years and here I am again. It is very confusing when you run a business (or businesses) alone or in other words, one man show. Sometimes my tasks require me to do three different things at a time (learning how to split myself into three different bodies LOL) hence, let go some of the stuff I used to do. The solution to my challenges now is to take interns into my company. That would (hopefully) save me several hours a week from doing something I shouldn’t be doing.

By the way, I forgot how great it was to do editing on my 27″ iMac because nowadays I spend most of the time on my MacBook Pro. To the extend where I think I don’t need an iMac anymore but no I was wrong! Doing editing is without a doubt the best on a bigger screen. Here, I present you Christine and Kuan Eng’s wedding. Such an amazing and super nice couple. The wedding took place at InterContinental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Beautiful and intimate dinner reception. I wish them both all the best and stay fabulous!

Mitsui Outlet Park, Sepang

First of all, it has been 2 freakin’ years. Second of all, Emma’s first appearance on daddy’s blog, yay! I think I wanna blog again. Pretty serious about it but consistency is my concern. Pray for me!

So, last Saturday Maisarah and I decided to pay Mitsui Outlet Park, Sepang a visit and see it for ourselves. For me, it was a good first impression. I told Maisarah it felt a little bit like overseas standard. Maisarah replied, “Mungkin sebab banyak brand mahal-mahal kot sebab tu you rasa macam tu.” LOL. Because the building is huge, it automatically makes it sort of kids friendly place. Why? Because your kids can run about. Cons? You have to run and chase them haha. On a serious note though, please be careful because there are lots of people. If you tengah mabuk shopping, memang lupa bebudak ni semua unless you have someone to entertain them while you’re shopping.

I didn’t shop that day. Couldn’t shop with kids around. Nanti you tend to make rush decision and end up buying something you don’t even need but you buy it because you’re in a rush. Make sense? On the other hand, Maisarah thinks Mitsui is not a “fun” place to shop in terms of pricing. She thinks takde la murah sangat and it is just like a big mall with big sale. Not like an outlet. An outlet should offer crazy price. Even JPO (Johor Premium Outlet) is cheaper. At Mitsui, the cheapest shirt you can get is RM 29 but JPO ada yang from RM 5. Mungkin ade yang murah we all tak jumpa. Next trip we go without kids ahaks.

All in all, not too bad la. I wish I took more photos tapi nak handle camera lagi, budak-budak lagi, itu ini, memang ribut! Sesape yang ade anak tau lah macam mane ahaks. But again, kalau asyik bagi alasan jer, sampai bila pun takde gambar kan? A for effort!

Bapak ah dah pukul 4 pagi wei. Aku nak tido! Bye!

Candat Sotong & Pulau Kapas

It started when 4 of us were too busy with life and had no time to think like we did 13 years back. Our WhatsApp group remained silent for a few months. One fine day, Achik (plum guy red shirt) broke the silence. He said, “lamo tok kukuk group nih”. It means, it’s been a while since our last conversation in the group. Then suddenly one by one started to respond Achik. Then Along (the kopiah guy) came out with this idea. He said, “why don’t we take a break and go do something out of our comfort zone”. Since he lives in Marang, Terengganu he suggested candat sotong activity.

At first I was like, what the hell is candat sotong (not that I’m a bimbo). Then I started googling and thinking this is not bad at all. Brand new experience for all of us. So we started looking the right dates. Alang (the nelayan look) was a bit reluctant to join at first considering he is always busy and workaholic. So, 3 of us had to convince Alang that this would be the best thing to do in conjunction with our reunion too. The last time we did something together was 13 years ago and that’s it.

In 2 days, we found the right dates, everyone agreed and decided to give it a shot. The plan was so random that when I told my wife I was going for candat sotong in a week time she laughed so hard. I still don’t get it until today.

So, the package is you get a boat, their people will take you to the ocean and help you with the activity. Although you have zero knowledge, it’s not a problem because these people will advice what to do. We took off from Marang jetty and overnight in the middle of the ocean. The next day we packed up and went straight to Pulau Kapas for a relaxation. We were very fortunate because the weather was perfect. The photos tell it all.

Man, I’m writing this at 2.40 am in the morning and thinking to stop right here. Wish I had more energy to write the details of the journey but all I could think of now is sleep. Hope you enjoy the photos and if you love them, it is available for purchase as well.

Cheerio!
